I'm now at the stage of my weight loss adventure where I need reconstructive surgery. I've already undergone breast reduction, which was covered by government healthcare, and have just completed the lower body lift. The last two procedures are the removal of the extra tissue from under my arms and between my upper thighs.

The cost of correcting these last two problems is a staggering 10,000. I've applied for a bank loan, but unfortunately, it will only cover part of the cost. Through it all, I have had the support of wonderful friends and family. Now they see the pain I feel, and they worry. They know that because of my Crohn’s disease I can only work part time, and thus could never bear the staggering cost of the surgery alone.
